Natasha Vallee
Position: Integrated Operations Center Lead
Experience:
Straight out of university, I worked for two years in production engineering. From there, I went into reservoir engineering to broaden my knowledge on reservoir management and drainage. My experience in production engineering and reservoir engineering both required me to work in the office, so when I was presented with an opportunity to work in the field as a production optimization engineer, I took it. This role required me to focus on surface facility and production optimization, and also to work with a broad spectrum of people and teams. It is this experience that has led me to where I am today, working as the integrated operations centre lead for the Integrated Operations team here in Calgary. In this role I am responsible for directing my own Calgary and field interdisciplinary team.
Educational Background: Chemical Engineering Degree from the University of Calgary

"There are so many exciting opportunities in science and engineering, and not enough women to take advantage of all of them! Every day I come to work and wish I worked with more women, I value encouraging young girls so that we can make a change in today’s industries."
